A near weightless fabric made from hundreds of intricately woven layers that alternate between silk and magic. It is crafted in such a way where cannot be pierced directly by anything thicker than a needle, but can be cut from the side.

 

A rare type of abyssal insect is known to produce the material needed for the crafting of this silk, and only a small few specially trained people are capable of using this material in its production. It's a secret oral tradition passed down through hundreds of generations, and something that takes a lifetime of training to perfect.

 

Each weaver's magic is different, so the silks have a wide variety of patterns and colors influenced by the personality of who created it. When purchasing shimmerweave you'll always know who created it based on the artist's signature style!
